LEGO League Excursion

On 30 May 2025, selected students participated in the Spike Prime Robotics Day at the Dulap Wilim Hub in Sunbury. Schools from across the region gathered to ‘unbox’ their Spike Prime robots, learn the basics of building and programming, and engage in exciting team challenges.
During the day, students constructed their robots, explored competition rules, and took part in mock judging sessions to help prepare for future LEGO League events. A highlight was the treasure chest hunt, where teams programmed their robots to follow a set path, applying their coding and problem-solving skills in a practical way. Students also interacted with peers from other schools, sharing ideas and building connections.
In addition to the technical activities, students worked on an innovative project designed to develop creative solutions to real-world problems. They also learned about the core values of the LEGO League, such as teamwork, inclusion, discovery, innovation, and fun—important principles that underpin all aspects of the competition.
The excursion provided a rich, hands-on learning experience that encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity in an inspiring and supportive environment.
