Friendship Fair Day

Friendship Fair Day

Today we celebrated Friendship Fair Day – a joyful end-of-term tradition focused on friendship, fun, and giving back.

The day began with a special assembly where our talented music students performed and reminded us of the importance of this event: celebrating our friendships, reflecting on our Semester One learning, and raising funds for our sponsor child, Ellie.

In classrooms this week, students also learned about St Jude’s School in Tanzania and Ellie’s story. They reflected on the privileges we enjoy here in Australia—like access to education—and wrote heartfelt letters to Ellie, congratulating her on finishing school and wishing her well as she begins university.

Following the assembly, the fair came alive with student-led stalls and activities.

Highlights included biscuit decorating, the photo booth, the 'screamometer', and the ever-popular lucky dip.

The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of dancing!

In the afternoon, we enjoyed our much-loved annual Talent Show. While not every student chose to perform, it was wonderful to see so many students confidently take to the stage with class acts, solos, dances, and comedy. The audience was incredibly supportive, cheering on their classmates and celebrating each act with pride and encouragement.
