Mini Vinnies

Cosy Collection

Mini Vinnies are collecting winter gear to donate to people in need.

We are looking for winter accessories such as beanies, scarves, and gloves.

If you have any old or unused cosy accessories at home please donate them to our collection by dropping them into the boxes in classrooms or the office.

Please have all donations in by FRIDAY WEEK 8.

Reconciliation Week Liturgy

Today our Fire Carrier students, the choir, and grade one students led our school in a liturgy for Reconciliation Week.

St Augustine's is a Fire Carrier School, The FIRE Carrier Project is a joint initiative of the Aboriginal Catholic Ministry Victoria and the Opening the Doors Foundation. The dream of the FIRE Carrier program is to promote respect, fairness, and inclusion for First Nations People in Education. The FIRE Carrier promotes enculturation and reconciliation through the sharing of culture and spirituality in Victorian Catholic primary and secondary schools.

5/6 Gifts of the Holy Spirit

As our Grade 6 students prepare for their Sacrament of Confirmation later this year and explore the significance of the feast of Pentecost, the 5/6 students have been delving into the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
