4D have been investigating the Inquiry Question ‘How might our use of chemicals today affect future life?’ They have been exploring how different chemicals are used in everyday items and how these items are used in a positive or negative way. This week 4D presented their Inquiry projects they created for Open Morning to their peers and families, demonstrating their learning on different types of chemicals, what products they are used in and their properties. The students created slideshows, videos, posters, diagrams and 3D models to portray their learning in an engaging way, showcasing presentation and speaking skills to their audience. The students delved into sustainability in terms of alternative products that are not harmful to the environment and the benefits of recycling plastic to help the environment.
