We are pleased to let you know that the PFA, whilst still in rebuild mode, is making great headway to re-establish itself.

We’ve had some really enthusiastic individuals join our first meeting & some great ideas were tabled.

We’ve done away with a formal committee structure (with specific roles) and instead a small informal leadership/support group has been formed.

This group aims to be agile & work as an enabling arm of the greater PFA ensuring….

  • ideas are followed through & stuff happens!
  • groups within the school are provided guidance & support running events
  • a simple & sustainable operating model is created so the next wave of enthusiastic parents/carers don’t have to reinvent the wheel

Thank yous…

Big shoutout to all the volunteers who Signed Up and showed up for the school working bee on the 19th to prepare the school for our celebrations. Your hard work has made a big difference. Special thanks to Seth for leading the crew, and to his whole family for their invaluable support and effort.

As this newsletter is being published the school is celebrating its 100 years, with the PFA pulling together and re-establishing just in time to coordinate support for a morning tea for the community and a special lunch for students. The Sign Up rosters are 100% volunteer committed for helpers to pack or serve, and over 400 lunches have been ordered! Tiffany has been hard at work creating the amazing celebration biscuits to go into the lunch bags. PFA group members have also been working hard to produce merchandise for the event including the 100 years ENPS T-Shirt, personalised bottles, book-marks and bag tags, and kid’s celebration wristbands. It has been a monster effort and an impressive demonstration of what we parents can do when we pull together. See Compass News for links to purchase.
