A message from your Coordinator.

Children were actively engaged in various activities during reconciliation week. These activities included participating in group discussions and expressing their feelings through art and storytelling.

 

There has been no decline in the children's interest in Lego building. Nowthat the mansion they built has been demolished, they are concentrating on the construction of a Lego city. The children have their own ideas about what they want to build, for instance, a skyscraper, a museum, or a jewellery store. Lego building is not only a fun and engaging activity for children but also promotes creativity and problem-solving skills. 

 

In the next two weeks, the service will be trialling a pilot program with a provider called "Cluey". The pilot consists of children engaging in an online homework club that will support them in completing and seeking additional help withtheir school homework. The homework club will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the OSHC room starting on the 

11 th of June.
