Secondary Sub School Rooms 19 - 27

Hello everyone,

Term 2 has flown by, I can`t believe it’s already week eight. Teachers are now under the pump as they assess and report on what students have been doing.

Teachers are now finalising their assessments heading into Friday’s report writing day. Below are some photos of teachers and students hard at work. 

With the increased emphasis on work, it is also more common to see students in need of a movement break. JSA teachers are of course accommodating to this need. Whole classes can often be found riding bikes or walking laps after or before a long work session. 

Another common sight has been performance rehearsals and preparation. It is common to see classrooms practising their performance and or preparing/making costumes.

Room 26

Room 26 has been participating in different programs. All the students have been enjoying being in  the “Yaluk Building”.

Celebrations: Sahmarah celebrated her 14th birthday. Every one enjoyed the cake. Michelle, Edward, Ismail and Katarina are completing Maths activities using unifix. Alicia is happy using the hand mixer during the cooking session and Kerem is planting a plant for Mother’s day.
