YEAR 9 

During Social Emotional Learning (SEL) last week students spent their lesson engaging in an activity to improve their knowledge and understanding of who they are and who their peers are. A big thank you to Ms Ly’s Pastoral Group who welcomed me and asked questions to get a better understanding of who I was as a person. 

This Tuesday our annual College Athletics Carnival will take place at Barlow Park providing students with a fantastic opportunity to experience the full use of a purpose-built athletic track. All students are expected to attend as a compulsory school day. We look forward to seeing all Year 8's in attendance! 

The College will run the Tuesday timetable on Monday 3 June with the Athletics Carnival occurring the following day. 

The Athletics Carnival will be on Tuesday 4 June at Barlow Park. Students are expected to arrive by 8:25 am with the day concluding at 3:15 pm. House Uniform is to be worn on this day.

The exam and assessment pressures are beginning to increase and it is important to maintain effective organisational skills to reduce stress. I would encourage parents/carers to check in with your child and encourage them to ask for support from their classroom teachers if required. 

SUBJECT EXPO

Subject Expo for students, parents/carers in Years 8, 9, and 10 will occur on Thursday, 11 July at 4 pm. Parents and students of Years 8, 9 and 10 are expected to attend for information about subject selection and career pathways in 2025.
