Japan Trip Sponsorship - Hats & Backpacks 

Many preparations are underway for our exciting upcoming Japan Trip in September. 

Recently, the 26 participating students have been busy creating ‘get to know me’ letters to post to our sister school, Toyohama Elementary School, practising earthquake drills and how to take their shoes off correctly before walking on tatami mats.

We have been running fundraising events like the Japan Shop on Japan Day to raise funds to help offset some of the costs associated with the trip, such as purchasing omiyage (gifts) for our sister school and tour tops. We are also reaching out to any families who may have connections eager to sponsor the purchase of tour caps or backpacks. As you can see from this past trip photo, they look great and make the group easily identifiable. It will also still be very hot when we visit- making them very practical!
