Book Week

Congratulations to all students, families and teachers for their hard work and commitment to making our Book Week and Parade such an amazing celebration. Seeing the students celebrate their favourite authors and books was fantastic. The weather was perfect for our parade, and it was amazing to see so many families turn out. Thank you to all our families for the time and effort put into making it such a wonderful event. 

Thank you to our amazing Junior School Councillors who helped co-ordinate the ‘Make you own Bookmark’ and ‘Guess how many pages in the book’ events over the week.  You did a fantastic job helping plan such great events for our school.

2023 Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey

The 2023 Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey (PCGOS) is be open for parents/caregivers/guardians to complete before Friday 8 September.

The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. We invite all families to take part in the survey and provide feedback.

Enrolments For 2024 – Are You Moving??

If you are leaving our school and will not require a place at Greenvale PS in 2024 can you please let the office know immediately? We are currently organising class structures for 2024, so it is essential that we are informed of any students who are leaving. 

Foundation Enrolments For 2024 

Do you have a child who will be a Foundation student in 2024? Have you enrolled him/ her yet? If not, please do so immediately by phoning the school office or dropping in to complete the enrolment form.

Class Placements 2024

This is the time of year when parents have the opportunity to put in writing requests for their child’s placement for 2024 based on social issues and learning needs. If you know of any issues that could impact on your child’s learning, please put it in writing addressed to the Principal. Please do not send requests asking for a specific teacher. All the requests are to be back to school by Friday, 13 October.  After that date no requests will be allowed. If you have spoken with us in the past, your requests will need to be renewed as circumstances change on a yearly basis. Please email greenvale.ps@education.vic.gov.au
