As you are aware, we are integrating more of our modes of communication to Compass. Commencing next week, First Aid notifications will come through on Compass. This will be sent as notification via email with a link to what is called a Sick Bay notification. Sick Bay is the name of the Compass module.
Where you would have received a paper copy outlining your child's injury / illness and treatment, this will now appear in Compass. You will receive notifications earlier, however this does not mean that you need to collect your child from school. If a child needs to be collected from school or has sustained a higher-level injury or illness, we will phone parents/carers.
At school council last week, the Communication with School Staff policy was reviewed and endorsed. You can access all school policies on our school website.
We have recently reviewed our processes and procedures for NDIS Therapy Providers to engage with CSDS. These are outlined in an updated NDIS Therapy Provider Guidelines document which has been shared and is supported by school council. Please see this attached.
Footy Colours Day is on Wednesday 13 September, (last week of term 3). Our student leaders and Student Engagement team have planned some fun footy themed activities for the day and we would love our CSDS family community to join in.
Please see the Student Engagement page for further information.
