Student Leadership Update

School Captains: Myah, Seb, Ivy & Henry

Hi everyone!

It's your school captains here again to to give you an update on the term ahead and some recent happenings. :)

This term is very action-packed. Most classes are in the late stages of concert practice [the school concert is on Monday 11 September]. Ticket bookings are available so make sure to get them!

Also, this term, District Athletics was on Wednesday and the school was represented very well according to the teachers. Everyone did amazing in their events as well as encouraging others.

We are very much looking forward to our Jump Rope for Heart 'Jump Off'. It is happening in week 10 on Thursday. This is also RU OK Day. Be prepared to look like Maccas workers with students wearing pops of red and yellow!

This Tuesday we went to a place called GenU, a community nursery. We bought a bunch of cool Australian and local native plants, with the money going towards helping people with learning disabilities. We also went to Bunnings to get cool pots and some soil. All of these plants will be put in Dave’s courtyard for a fresh look. We are excited to plant them next term and see the results.
