Principal's message

Dear God,

May all those who are saddened by the death of Luke feel your presence as love and support.

May your loving presence wrap all these people in comfort and love and give them strength to move through the days ahead without Luke.

We ask that you watch over his spirit as he journeys home to you.

                                               Amen

Dear Parents

We finish term three on a sad note.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to focus on the Elkington family with the loss of Luke, husband of Samaia and father of Sam in grade six and Ava in grade 4.

I thank all those in our school community who have supported the Elkington's over the past few days with their love, support of donations of food, etc.

I know going forward that this expression of compassion and support will continue.

The faith, strength and bonds  in a community such as St. Bernard’s are powerful and this will nurture Samaia, Sam and Ava through the next days, weeks and months.

Your expressions of love, support and acts of kindness towards the family are deeply  appreciated.

Choir visit

Our Choir will head to Illoura  on Thursday to perform for the residents. We hope that this act brings joy to the residents.

School Finishes at 2.20 pm on Friday.

We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday break.

Thank you.
