Badminton

We sent a group of 5 girls and 5 boys to represent the school in the local badminton tournament at the Colac Showgrounds on the 18th of August. The team finished 5th overall and participated beautifully. Well done to all.

Netball

On Tuesday the 15th of August, our girls netball team travelled down the highway to Melbourne to compete in the Netball Victoria School Championships. They had 7 games in total and have yet to lose a single game of netball this year. Confidence was high and the girls got off to a great start, winning their first 5 games, including a 3 goal win over Sacred Heart. Game 6 turned out to be the toughest for the day and although the girls tried their best, eventually went down by a goal. This game was the only game they lost all tournament, but proved to be a pivotal game as Sacred Heart only lost one game as well and finished eventual pool winners. Janelle, Maegen and the girls had a great day and look forward to the state titles in a few weeks time.

The girls now turn their attention to the school sports Victoria state titles held in Melbourne tomorrow. The best 8 teams in the state will battle it out for the title and we wish our girls all the best!
