What’s going on in the Leadership Centre?

It has been a very busy week in the Leadership Centre with our Senior Swimming Carnival taking place on Tuesday. Students attended Aqualink Nunawading and were able to compete in a range of water events as well as cheer on their classmates.

A highlight for students was engaging in the novelty races, using pool noodles to race against other teams and have a lot of fun. Students should be commended on how they conducted themselves at the pool. We saw lots of bravery, respect and kindness being shown by our wonderful senior students.

On Wednesday, we held our annual Cyber Safety Incursions. Students listened to Sam from the Cyber Safety Project as he told us about being safe when using devices from how to look after our wellbeing to how to ensure we are making good choices such as turning off notifications to help us disengage from online spaces.

Grade 3 students have also started using our new Chromebooks. This has been a new experience for them (and us), and they have enjoyed exploring these devices and seeing how we can use them to enhance our learning.
