CLASS MASS

Below is the timetable for Term 1 Class Masses. We would love parents and carers to join us for Friday morning Mass.

SHROVE TUESDAY

Last week our Mini Vinnies leaders helped the school community celebrate Shrove Tuesday in a very special way. They prepared and served pancakes for students as we marked the final day before the beginning of Lent.

Shrove Tuesday, traditionally known as Pancake Day, is a time when Christians use up ingredients like eggs and milk before the Lenten season of reflection and preparation. Our students enjoyed a pikelet for morning tea and families generously contributed gold coin donations in support of Caritas Australia.

ASH WEDNESDAY

Last week our school community also marked Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent and the season that leads us toward Easter. Students in Years 3 to 6 attended Mass at Holy Family Church, joining parishioners in prayer and reflection.

Our younger students in Kindergarten to Year 2 took part in a special Ash Wednesday Liturgy at school with their teachers and Father Allan.

PURPLE MUFTI

Today the students engaged in Purple Mufti Day celebrating our Lenten season. Students filled the school with purple and showed real generosity, helping us raise funds for Caritas and support communities in need. It was a simple act that made a genuine difference.

FAMILY PARISH MASS

We warmly invite all families to join us for our upcoming Family Parish Mass on Saturday 7th March at 5pm. It is a wonderful opportunity for our school and parish community to come together in prayer and celebration.

At the end of Mass, our students will perform the recessional hymn, sharing their voices and joy with the parish community.

After Mass, we will continue the celebration with a relaxed pizza dinner for families to enjoy together. We would love to see you there.
