Classes 5A & 5B

Welcome to 2026! What an exciting start it has been to the school year. The Grade 5 students have settled in beautifully, and it has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and readiness for learning already shining through. We would like to warmly introduce the Grade 5 classroom teachers: 5A – Mrs Ashlea Henderson and 5B – Mr Graham Broadbent. As new staff to Wimba Primary School, we are very excited to establish positive relationships with the Grade 5 cohort and their families. We are looking forward to a fantastic year of growth and learning together.

Leap into Learning

Over the past few weeks, students have been participating in Leap into Learning. During this important phase, we focus on establishing clear and consistent routines while building strong, positive relationships. Students have been getting to know one another and reflecting on how they learn best. This learning is an essential stage as it sets the foundation and expectations for a successful classroom environment.
