READING IN YEAR 3/4...

Students have been using the picture storybook ‘The Stone Lion’ to begin learning how to complete their reading tracks.

Throughout the story, students practised making inferences, creating connections, identifying the important parts of the story and asking thoughtful questions.

They discussed their ideas together and supported their thinking with evidence from the text and illustrations.

Students are beginning to learn how to correctly compete a Structured Reading Response.
