Year 9

A Positive Start to the Year

Our Year 9 students have made a very positive start to the academic year. It has been wonderful to see how quickly they have settled into new routines, adapted to expectations, and begun building good relationships with their teachers and peers. The start of a new school year always brings change, and students have approached this transition with maturity and enthusiasm. 

A highlight of the start to the term has been the African drumming experience. This engaging and energetic session encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, work collaboratively, and experience the power of teamwork. The activity reinforced the benefit of  listening to one another, contributing positively, and letting your guard down. It was fantastic to see students having fun while also developing confidence, connection, and cooperation. 

Each fortnight, the College Careers Team publishes a newsletter providing students and parents with the most up-to-date career information, events and opportunities.
