Classroom News

Foundation
Well we picked up a teacher, didn't we! A big welcome to Maddy who has joined our Junior Team and will be teaching our wonderful Foundation students on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Discovery Play
In the Foundation class we have been getting used to our routines, school expectations and timetables to help us transition into primary school as well as we can. Most afternoons we engage in Discovery Learning, where each child gets an opportunity to engage in a range of activities, designed to promote student choice, provocations, collaborative play and getting to know others better. Its a time to play, create, talk, share, explore and have fun!
Year 1
Dear Families,
It was such a pleasure meeting you all this week. Thank you for the open conversations and the joy you have already brought into our classroom community.
Our Discovery area is looking wonderful, and the children are eagerly learning through play. It has been beautiful to see their curiosity and excitement as they explore and connect with one another. I will be attaching some photos for you to enjoy. I have also included a few of the books we have been reading in class, which may prompt some lovely discussions at home.
I am truly looking forward to a fantastic term ahead.
Terri 😊

We are such a wonderful caring group of learners and are thinking of our friends that are out sick. Year 3/4 AL and 3/4 T
Welcome back families and a very special welcome to Vincent (3/4 AL) and his family!
What a wonderful start to the school year we have had. Students have been reconnecting with friends, revisiting and revising school and classroom expectations. They have been busy getting to know their teachers and finding out more about each other through games and group activities. There has been a lot of collaboration between the two classes already and we can't wait to see the amazing learning that is going to unfold this year!
Abby, Lauren and Tess
