College Leadership Team

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
One key focus in our Strategic Plan is the consistent use of instructional routines in every lesson. That means students experience predictable structures: clear starts, clear learning goals, active learning time and purposeful wrap-ups where they reflect on what they’ve learned.
Why is this important? Predictability reduces anxiety and frees up students’ thinking for real learning. It also helps new and relief teachers slot into established class habits. You might hear your child talking about “learning intentions”, “success criteria” or familiar entry/exit routines – that’s deliberate. If you’d like to support this at home, a great question to ask is: “What was today’s learning intention? How did you know you were successful?” This helps students connect their school day with their ongoing growth.
In faith, hope and love,
Mrs Janet Ross
