Dear Parents and Carers, 

It was a very exciting morning for all of us at St Fidelis on Thursday last week, however, it was extra special for 37 students, who celebrated their very First Day of School! A big congratulations and welcome to our new Foundation students for 2026, who all demonstrated courage, positivity, curiosity and resilience as they began their learning journey. It was a wonderful first day filled with smiles and laughter, as we engaged in puzzles, construction and drawing, and made a first day of school crown. We also had the opportunity to play on the  playground, which was a big hit!

Foundation OS... Lucas, Freddie, Nysa, Florence, Dion, Leo, Roman, Mason, Lenny, Audrey, Quinn, Margot, Claire, Yianni, Asha, Penny, Scarlett, Charlie.

This week we began engaging in our morning routine, focussing on unpacking our bag, putting our lunch boxes in our top locker space, green folders in the basket and choosing a book to look at quietly whilst gathered around the prayer cloth. The students enjoyed their first learning experience with Initialit, where our focus has been understanding rhyming words. Another hit this week was our first specialist classes with Signora Rosa (Italian) Mr Jennings (PE) and Mr Frazzetto ( Art and STEM). 

We look forward to getting to know some familiar faces and many new ones in 2026. Enjoy the week ahead!
