A big thanks to all members who have voted in the ballot for industrial action – this act alone builds pressure on the Allan government as part of our VGSA campaign.

We have been negotiating a new agreement since August 2025. Eight months on, the government has made no wages offer and no movement on key conditions.

If you have received your ballot email/text please don't delay in voting YES to all actions before 5:00pm on Thursday 12th March 2026.  If you joined us after the cut-off date for the ballot, don't despair! You can definitely still be part of the industrial action.

A successful ballot will trigger the first 24-hour statewide stopwork in 13 years on Tuesday 24th March. We will keep you informed about a specific meeting point for CPS staff and the way we should log the time in eduPay. 

As per Friday's briefing notes, staff will need to inform Janet 36 hours prior to the day if they are taking action and all staff not involved in the action will be expected to be on duty.
