Temporary staffroom option during the renovation before we have a joint staffroom to enjoy together
Thank you for the conversation at CC about the benefit of having a shared space to come together as a staff.
After reflecting on the options raised at CC:
- Wellbeing hub
- OHS with students near kitchen equipment
- impact on newly renovated room - food smell and cleanliness
- Intervention Room
- too small
- The hall
- unappealing and with events / PE / production rehearsals - not logical
- The Library
- proximity to students / parents
- in an office space
Therefore, we have sought an alternative which we believe is the best option:
- the mezzanine room in the BER above the kitchen. This space will be split into two for our use and Kelly Club when they are present before and after school.
- We will put in a fridge and tables/chairs.
- Food can be prepared in the kitchen downstairs.
- Utensils and cutlery still to be brought by each staff member.
- The mezzanine would need to be left in a clean and tidy manner.
- We will set this up asap and let you know when it is ready to welcome you!
