What is your favourite TV show?

How I Met Your Mother.

What is your favourite food?

Pasta.

Do you have any pets?

I have a Blue English Staffy called Gigi and a very old and rotund cat named Margot.

What inspired you to work in education?

While working in the corporate fashion industry, I came to the realisation that I wanted to do something that made me feel proud of what I was doing. I wanted to do something that was making a real difference to people's lives. I thought back to my own primary school years and how I could remember every single teacher - what an impact teachers have! I applied for Uni and never looked back.

What are you most proud of?

I am always so proud when I see one of my students have that 'light bulb' moment!

Is there anything you do regularly to promote mental and physical wellbeing?

I try to be as physically active as possible - I walk my dog, do Pilates, go to the gym, and I pay club netball. All of this supports both my physical and mental wellbeing too. I love being a part of my netball club - the social element is amazing for mental health.

Do you like to cook? If yes, what's your signature dish?

I LOVE to cook and have over 30 cookbooks. Every time I go to my local library I come home with a cookbook. My favourite thing to make would be fresh pasta using my pasta making machine.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

Madonna - Like a Prayer.

Do you have a standout memory from your time at primary school?

The school fetes - I thought they were the absolute best day ever! I loved the cake stall, the lucky dip, the dunking machine, and the water balloon fights we would have with all our friends. I loved spending the day with everyone from the school community.

What are you enjoying most about your role at ENPS so far?

I have been blown away by the community evolvement at ENPS. A really special culture exists at ENPS and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
