Sisters in Sport Conference

On Friday 27 February we took a group of students to Ascham for the annual Sisters in Sport Leadership Conference. As always, it was a fantastic day filled with inspiration, learning and meaningful conversations about the future of women’s sport.

This year’s theme, “Outplaying the Past,” encouraged students to reflect on the progress that has been made while also thinking about the role they can play in continuing to drive positive change. Throughout the day the girls heard from an incredible lineup of guest speakers, including Molly Taylor, Chloe Dalton and Katina Janev who shared their personal journeys, challenges and achievements in sport and leadership.

The energy, passion and commitment in the room were truly remarkable. Events like this highlight the power of community and the importance of supporting and uplifting women in sport. Our students left the conference feeling inspired, motivated and excited about the opportunities ahead as they continue to shape the future of women’s sport.

IPSHA Swimming Carnival

On Tuesday 3 March we accompanied our Junior School swimmers to the annual IPSHA Swimming Carnival. It was a fantastic day of competition. All of our swimmers gave 100% in the pool, showcasing their impressive skills and representing their school with pride. Their commitment and enthusiasm were evident in every race, and it was wonderful to see them supporting and encouraging one another throughout the day.

We are also very proud to share that a number of our girls achieved outstanding results and have progressed to the CIS Swimming Carnival. This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to all of our amazing athletes for their efforts and for representing Kambala so proudly.

We wish those progressing to CIS the very best of luck in the next stage of competition.
