As we reach the end of Term 1, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on what has been a busy and successful start to the school year.
Our students have settled in exceptionally well, particularly our Year 7s and Prep students, who have quickly adapted to new routines, environments, and expectations. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow and friendships form. Across the senior school, our VCE students have approached their studies with focus and determination, completing their first round of SACs with maturity and resilience. We also wish to celebrate the efforts of our Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 students who have just successfully undertaken their NAPLAN testing, demonstrating their skills and progress over the preceding 2 years of education.
A highlight of the term was the Year 11 and 12 Formal which took place last Friday night. The evening was a fantastic celebration, with students presenting themselves with style and pride. It was a memorable event that showcased the strong sense of community within our senior cohort.

We also enjoyed a successful Ride to School Day, with many students choosing active and healthy ways to travel to school. Thank you to all who participated and supported this important initiative. It was a great morning with the ride to school being followed by some fun and engaging activities at school before classes started.

In sport, we have much to celebrate. We’ve had students competing in a variety of sports throughout the term. Big congratulations needs to go to both our swimming champion Csev Calderon for his outstanding performances in the pool, and to our lawn bowls team for their excellent efforts, finishing as both winners and runners-up in their respective divisions. These achievements reflect the dedication and sportsmanship of our students which all their peers can aspire to.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our College Council members for their ongoing support and commitment to our school community:

There are also exciting opportunities for community involvement. We encourage members of our school community to consider becoming a mentor through the Mates Mentoring Program, supporting students through positive relationships and guidance.
