Independence Centre
Highlights
Selamat sore 3/4 families!
What an exciting week we’ve had in the Independence Centre! It was amazing to see some students perform on stage at The Round for the Mount Pleasant’s Got Talent show. There were some nerves for the performers, but the audience were a great support and quickly helped them to feel comfortable. Congratulations to all!
In English we wrote some funny Limericks. These are poems that are meant to be silly and have the rhyming pattern AABBA. We thought about a character, setting and problem that we could use and loved sharing a laugh when we read these to each other.
Scribble, scribble scribble! The Year 4s were really excited to have Kinder buddies this week for students who are beginning Foundation next year. We read the story ‘Not just a scribble’ and created our very own scribble people. It was fun to show off our creativity and help the younger students feel happy at school.
