This week in Writing we are learning to write an information report. 

VOCABULARY

Information text: a type of writing that gives you real facts. 

Features: the different parts of a text, for example, Title, Heading, Diagram and Facts 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to choose an animal they know a lot about. Ask them to tell you what this animal looks like? After they have verbally explained what the animal looks like, have them write it in a sentence.
