Wet weather activity for science today included making plant pots out of recycled paper. By planting our pea seeds into the paper pots they can be planted directly into the garden without disturbing the roots and the paper breaks down quickly.

We have been enjoying mandarines from our tree, now the lemons are all eaten. The carrots are growing slowly, a good lesson in patience. We planted garlic and potatoes in the empty beds which will be fun to dig up in a few months time.

The nuts keep on giving. These students are cracking open the last of the pecan and macadamia nuts.
