Selamat Siang,
Welcome back everyone, the first week of Term 3 has absolutely swum by! We have had an action packed week full of swimming and learning. On Tuesday we had our first day of swimming lessons, and it was great to see all the students learning about water safety either at the pool or in school. It was impressive to see both swimmers and non-swimmers alike taking responsibility and showing independence over the week! Next week, we will continue and complete our water safety program.
Over the week, we have also been busy learning about NAIDOC week through our literacy activities. Students spent time investigating and creating their own NAIDOC week collages and stories. In Maths, over the week we have begun exploring multiplication and division and the connection between them both. In doing so we have played several card games and undertaken a quest from an old wizard! Please feel free to ask your child for more details.
Hope you all have a great start to the term!
