Foundation (Prep) 2025

We have had an extremely high demand for places in Foundation (Prep) at EHPS in 2025; by the due date on Friday 26 July we had received over 150 applications for placement. In accordance with the new Department of Education Foundation (Prep) 2025 enrolment process and timeline, places have been offered to a full cohort of 80 students (29 children from new families, 35 children who are siblings of existing EHPS students, and 16 children who live out of zone) to commence at primary school at EHPS in 2025. Families offered a place are in the process of completing their child's enrolment in the digital VicStudents portal; this must be completed by 23 August.  

On finalisation of their child's enrolment, families will be provided with the detailed School Transition Program for children starting next year. Enrolled children are invited to participate in our School Transition Program to facilitate a successful start at primary school:

• Story Time in August (optional; booking required)  
• Glitter & Glue Art Session in September (optional; booking required)  
• Music Sing-a-long in September (optional; booking required)
• Transition 1 on 10 October. 
• Transition 2 on 23 October. 
• Transition 3 on 19 November. 
• Orientation Day on 6 December.

Parents/guardians of children enrolled to commence in Foundation (Prep) in 2025 will have an Information Evening on Tuesday 12 November.
