Scholastic Book Fair
A heartfelt thank you for your incredible support during our recent Book Fair! Your enthusiastic participation made this event a tremendous success, and we are thrilled to announce that we raised an amazing $5683.34! 🎉
Scholastic has generously rewarded us with 30% of the sales proceeds, which will go towards updating our beloved library with new and exciting books! 🥳
🌟 🙏 We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to our dedicated and extraordinary parent volunteers who generously sacrificed their precious time to help us out. Without you, this success would not have been possible.
🫶 Our sincere thanks also go to our fantastic staff for supporting the Fair in so many ways — whether through your purchases or assisting with the organisation. Your contributions were invaluable!
🤩And let’s not forget our awesome students, who eagerly stepped up to spread the word by putting up flyers and gnome signages around the school. Your efforts were crucial to the Fair's success!

2024 Book Week: Reading is Magic!
Book Week 2024 will be celebrated from Saturday 17 to Friday 23 August. The 2024 theme is Reading is Magic!
The CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) shortlisted books for 2024, including the Book of the Year, have been announced - click here. The Library will soon have copies of the shortlisted titles for students to borrow.
The 2024 Book of the Year winners will be announced at noon on Friday 16 August - click here.
Take care when returning library books
We have recently received notification from Boroondara and Knox Libraries that EHPS library books has been incorrectly returned to them.
We are grateful to our local libraries for letting us know they have our books, and for the opportunity to get them back. We will be asking the families that last borrowed the books to collect them by the due date (if not collected by the specified date, our books are destroyed).
Please take care when returning library books that you return these precious resources to the correct library.
