Division Netball
The Monash Waverley Division Netball competition was held on Wednesday 31 July at the Waverley Netball Centre.
On Wednesday 31st of July, nine year six girls competed in the Division netball at Waverley Netball Centre. It was a very competitive day but unfortunately our team didn’t progress to the finals. On the bright side we won our pool, and it was a fantastic day overall!
We would like to thank Ms Hocking and Miss Kemp for organising this fun day and providing us with multiple training sessions. Another big thank you to our parents for driving us there and back, we are so grateful!

Division Girls AFL
19 students competed in a day of round-robin matches at the Monash Waverley Division AFL Girls finals on Thursday 8 August at Mount View Primary School. Winning teams progressed to the Eastern Metropolitan Region competition on Monday 12 August.
We all played so well to win our three matches against Mount View, Mount Scopus and Burwood East on Thursday 8th August. Congratulations to everyone for showing great teamwork and sportsmanship.
Well done to our team members who scored for us: Ruby, Raelynn, Charlotte, Zerrin, Dabianca, Maddie D and Georgia.
Special mention to Ruby W, Zerrin and Georgia for their work in the centre and Aria for her doing a great job in the ruck. Thank you to Ms Hocking, Ms Steward and Rif (Zerrin’s Dad) for coaching us throughout the day.
Winning all our matches means our team has successfully made it to Regionals and we are so proud. We can’t wait to represent Essex Heights in the next finals.

Division Girls Soccer Gala Day
On Tuesday the 6th of August we participated in the Division soccer for Essex Heights. We played four games and we tried our hardest, but unfortunately did not make it any further. We all had lots of fun and had the pleasure to learn many new and helpful skills. It was a great pleasure to be a part of the day. We were also grateful that it was a nice and sunny day. We also thank Miss Boles for coming with us.
