Facilities
Over the holidays we had various lines painted throughout the school’s sporting facilities. It has been great to see students enjoying the update to our grounds with many enjoying the new basketball court and downball grids.
Rubbish at school
At Horsham College, we are immensely proud of our school and community. Unfortunately, rubbish continues to be an issue in our yard. When rubbish isn't put in the bin, it pollutes our grounds and doesn’t reflect the pride and care we have for our school.
We are encouraging families to have a discussion with their children about rubbish at school, and to work together to reduce the packaging brought to school. Some handy tips can be found here:

NCCD
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) is a yearly count of students by all Australian schools across the country. The aim of the NCCD is to provide the Australian Government with information about the number of students with disability in Australian schools and the type of adjustments they need in order to access and participate in education on the same basis as other students. If your child has a disability, your child’s school will provide information about them for the NCCD, including:
The information collected by schools for the NCCD will ultimately be provided to the Australian Government Department of Education. In some cases this will involve the school passing the information directly to the Department. In other cases the school will provide it to its state or territory government agency (or other relevant body) in the first instance, and that agency will then provide the information to the Department. While it is not possible for schools or families to ‘opt out’ of the NCCD, the privacy and confidentiality of all students and their families is treated with utmost importance. Data is collected within each school, and personal details, such as student names and other identifying information, are not provided to local or federal education authorities.
Any questions or concerns please contact Melissa Twaddell (Assistant Principal – Disability and Inclusion) at the College or the relevant Assistant Principal of your child’s year level.
