Miaโs Journey to Brisbane 2032: Aiming High
Exciting news from the shooting range. Mia F. one of our year 9 students, has taken a significant step towards her Olympic dreams. During the April school holidays, she showcased her sharpshooting skills at SASI and caught the eyes of talent scouts.
ย
Mia is now part of an elite Talent Identification Program, preparing for the Air Rifle shooting event at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. Training under the watchful eyes of Carrie Quigley, the National Coach and Commonwealth medalist, and Emma Adams, the State Coach, Mia is on track to hit the bullseye.ย
ย
With sessions twice a week, sheโs following in the footsteps of Jack Rossiter, who also honed his skills at SASI before making it to Paris. Miaโs excitement is palpable, and we canโt wait to see her represent us on the world stage. Letโs cheer her on as she sets her sights on gold!ย
