Developing our Talents - DoT Week

Jude Shields, Head of Senior Primary, writing in August

If you walked through the Primary school in Week 5, you might have thought you’d stepped into a world of dots! Dot Week was in full swing, bursting with creativity and fun.

Our students participated in a wide range of exciting electives and workshops, including cooking, robot wars, photography, marble runs, cheerleading and clay sculpting to name a few. In Year level groups we had dance, Zumba, and cartooning incursions that helped students to step out of their comfort zone, develop perseverance while trying new things.

For the first time in the Primary school we had a House Competition. This showcased impressive Lego designs, trick shots, dotty drawings, imaginative cake decorating and House songs which were performed at our assembly. Cooper was crowned the House winner of Dot Week 2024.

The highlight of the week was the Celebration Showcase, where students proudly shared their creative endeavours with family and friends through performances and displays. It was a week filled with dotty fun, boundless creativity, and unforgettable moments as we worked on Developing Our Talents!
