DIBELS RESULTS 

St. Kilian’s school is excited to share their end of year reading data with the community! 

At St. Kilian’s, we understand that there are six factors that underpin the skill of reading; oral language, phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. Therefore, we use DIBELS to assess students' performance in all areas and then use these areas to understand a child’s overall reading ability.  

Below you will be able to see the growth our whole school has made in each area from the beginning of the year (BOY) to the end of the year (EOY) regarding the percentage of students ‘at standard’, or ‘above standard’.  

We are super proud of these results and are excited to see the Diocese take on the same approach to teaching reading in 2025 with their launch of Magnify.
