Reminder reports are released today through the Parent Access Module (PAM) in Simon. A keen eye on areas of future growth are vitally important as we prepare for the next year. Acknowledging areas of strength and interest is also a good conversation starter. Assessing your level of application and commitment can be the underlying source of outcomes. The bottom section within each subject report highlights application to learning, very rarely do application and reward not match up.
Term 4 is known for its busy and fast-paced nature and as we come to the end of Term 4, this has once again been proven correct. Just to name a few events that have taken place this term;
Year 12 Graduation Mass
Year 12 Assembly
Year 10-12 Exams
Elective and Sports Awards Assembly
Remembrance Day Service
Year 10 Final Day: Luncheon and Mass
Year 11 Head start: Waddo’s Walk
Year 7 2025 Orientation Day
Years 3-12 Speech Night
All things Sport
Year 9 Day Trips
Year 12 Valedictory Dinner
And don’t forget reporting and assessment
These opportunities just don’t happen for our young men. They are the result of great commitment and enthusiasm combined with a high degree of skill and expertise to deliver such events. As I have said to our students on many occasions, don’t be a passenger, have a go and get in the driver’s seat and be willing to try new things off your own bat. I have no doubt that the young men who take this approach reap the rewards as a result. So, as we come to another end of the year, I encourage all students along with their families to reflect on their approach and in turn your achievements as we all aim to be grateful for the opportunities and blessings which have come our way in 2024.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a lovely and blessed Christmas and New Year period.
