Welcome Back, Hollows House!

Welcome back to the 2025 school year! It has been fantastic to see everyone again over the first few days and to witness how smoothly students are transitioning back into school routines. A special welcome to our new Year 7 students, who have officially started their secondary school journey with us. They have actively participated in a range of activities throughout the Startup program, embracing new experiences and making connections with their peers.

For some, the highlight of the program was the immersive Virtual Reality experience, while others thoroughly enjoyed the Year 7 disco, where both students and staff showcased some outstanding dance moves!

As we settle into the school year, we encourage all students to continue demonstrating our school values of Respect, Learning, and Working Together in all aspects of school life. Let’s represent Hollows House with pride in everything we do. Next week’s whole-school assembly will be a great opportunity to display this pride, as we embody these values for the entire school community.

Exciting events are already on the horizon! Our annual Swimming Sports Carnival is fast approaching, and as the reigning champions, we are determined to hold onto our title. As the water house, we take great pride in our strength and spirit in the pool, but we need strong participation to secure another victory. Make sure you return your permission forms and come dressed in blue, ready to compete and cheer on your teammates!

Year 7 students, don’t forget that your Formula One Australia Grand Prix excursion is coming up soon. Please check that you have submitted your permission forms and payments as a matter of urgency to ensure your spot on this exciting trip.

Remember, the Hollows House team is always here to support you with any school-related matters. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make 2025 a fantastic year together!

Go Hollows!
