Principal's News

Principal’s Report

Thanks to everyone for your efforts during the Term. The students certainly have earned a break, and with a virus that has swept the school in the last few weeks, we all probably need a reset and sun, which it looks like we are getting.

Dance Crew

What a performance Wednesday night at St. John’s. Almost 30 students, from Prep to Year 6 and their families coming at 7pm is an incredible effort. But it was completely worth the late night! Thanks to Mrs LG for her leadership and expertise and thanks to all the families who allowed our stars to shine.

Farewell

Today is a sad day as we bid farewell to Mrs Libby DeKok who will be working on a full time basis in her other employment at OzChild. Libby brings light to our place on a Friday, and whilst the light might be switched off, we know that you can turn a light back on and Mrs DeKok has promised me she will be back in some way when circumstances permit.

Doveton Show

This Sunday, we will be at the Doveton show. We hope to see our families during the day.

If you are there in the morning, we may have something for the first family to visit us!

E-Safety Commissioner Website

I spoke to the students about the most important website I believe exists in these times. www.esafety.gov,au .  This is where you can report any online abuse. The holidays are a big time for students to be online, and where incidents increase. We encourage all families to be informed about the positives and negatives of the online world.

School Returns

We will see all students on the 2nd of October at normal time. A reminder our gates open at 8:20am for Breakfast Club and classes open at 8:40am, with a start at 8:50am.

Have a Happy and Safe Holiday.
