Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Friends and Father Arsenio,

Welcome to our prep families for 2024 who are receiving the newsletter for the first time. Our first transition session ran on Tuesday and it's hard to believe that we are readying our latest cohort (or we are readying ourselves if I am honest). Thanks to Katherine who makes it all run so smoothly.

I am so grateful to every family and parent who volunteered time at the fete. Especially to Sean Young who arranged a 'Fete Muscle' WhatsApp group. This group assisted with set up and pack up which meant we were ready to go for school by 2pm on Sunday. Considering we had over 8000 people on the site over the day this was huge. I also want to acknowledge Adam Stone and Kath Harbor who led well and I might add are ex parents. We are looking for new people to step on the committee as they would both like to step back. That said and done, it really was a good day that allowed for our community to come together.

I am working on providing feedback and explaining our set up within the next week in relation to the grade compositions for next year and beyond. A number of parents have asked and I want to provide a comprehensive response which includes, research, examples of best practice and modelling over the next four years.
