See below to read a Letter From our Mr Julian Hill MP regarding Free National Broadband Network for 12 months.
I am pleased to let you know that nominations for the SSBI have now been extended until 30 April 2024.
As a reminder, this initiative will provide up to 30,000 unconnected families with school aged children across Australia with a free National Broadband Network connection (NBN) for 12 months.
To be eligible, a family must:
· Be referred by their local MP;
· Have a child living at home enrolled in an Australian school in 2023; and
· Have no active NBN service.
Please nominate any children from your school who you believe would be eligible and benefit from this program. The program is undersubscribed so far so although places are limited, we will nominate as many local families as possible.
In order to nominate a family you will need to provide the following to my office:
· A name (primary contact point for the family);
· A home address (where the connection is to be installed); and
· Contact information (both an email and mobile number).
Please note you will need ensure that you obtain consent from the family for me to pass this information to the NBN.
