St Brigid's Parish Bulletin - 8th October 2023

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on 

Sunday, 22nd October at 9.30am.

Confirmation Lesson Dates:

5th Lesson - Wednesday 11th October - 3.50pm to 5pm in the Church

6th Lesson - Wednesday 18th October - 3.50pm to 5pm in the Church (practice and Reconciliation)

Please keep our Confirmation candidates in your thoughts and prayers.

October is Socktober

Our sock theme for this Friday 13th October is SPORTS SOCKS. Children can wear their favourite sport socks eg AFL, NRL, Soccer etc. 

It is a GOLD coin donation for our Socktober days.

St Vinnie's Christmas Hampers

In Term 4 we will start our Christmas Hampers for St Vinnies. Each classroom will have a basket for the children to donate non-perishable goods for those in need. Here are some ideas of what we can donate:

Term 4 School Masses

Please know that you are always welcome to join the St Brigid's Parish for Mass. Our school will attend Mass on the following Friday mornings:

The children will receive a set of Rosary Beads this week from Catholic Mission to help celebrate Our Lady during the month of October and Catholic Mission.

Diocese of Armidale - Marriage and Family Week 2023 Theme - Family Love: Sharing Life

Diocesan Administrator Monsignor Ted Wilkes has advised that all students in Armidale Diocesan Catholic schools have a lesson with a specific focus on “Family” during Marriage and Family Week. This year the dates for Marriage and Family week will take place in the Armidale Diocese 15th – 20th October 2023.
