A Wonderful Finish to Term 3!
Wishing Everyone a Safe Holiday Ready to Return to Our Final Term
Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Staff,
As we bid farewell to Term 3, we reflect on the remarkable journey we have undertaken so far this year. It has been an extraordinary year filled with challenges and triumphs, and we are immensely proud of our school community for their resilience and dedication.
Year 12: The Final Leg of the Journey
As we approach the final leg of the journey for our Year 12 students, we want to express our profound pride and gratitude to this exceptional year group. The dedication they have shown in the face of the HSC exams is truly commendable. We extend our best wishes to them as they prepare for this significant milestone in their academic journey. It is our hope that they feel the unwavering support and encouragement from every corner of our College community.
Year 12 Graduation: A Time to Celebrate
The Year 12 Graduation Mass, Ceremony, and Formal were a wonderful celebration of the accomplishments and growth of our graduating students. It was a momentous occasion filled with joy, laughter, and a few tears as we said goodbye to a cohort that has left an indelible mark on our school.
HSC Showcase: A Display of Remarkable Talent
A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of witnessing the extraordinary work of our Year 12 students in Visual Arts, Design and Technology, and Music. The sheer talent and boundless creativity displayed by our Year 12 students left us in awe. We couldn't be prouder of their remarkable accomplishments, and we look forward to seeing their talents shine in their future endeavours.
Father's Mass and Breakfast: A Heartwarming Occasion
Our Father's Mass and Breakfast was a wonderful occasion that allowed us to celebrate the important role fathers and father figures play in our students' lives. It was a morning filled with warmth, camaraderie, and heartfelt moments.
Holiday Lectures and Revision Workshops: An Opportunity for Growth
Looking ahead to the upcoming holiday break, Year 10, 11, and 12 students have the opportunity to participate in holiday lectures conducted by ATAR Notes. These enriching sessions are designed to help students prepare for their upcoming exams and consolidate their knowledge. To register for these sessions, please use the following link: ATAR Notes Registration Link.
A Special Orientation Day for Year 6 Students
Our college had the wonderful opportunity to extend a warm welcome to 150 Year 6 students for their Orientation Day. This special day was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our Year 10 students, who organised and conducted the program.
Our Year 10 students took on the role of mentors, guiding the incoming Year 6 students through a day filled with activities, tours, and informative sessions. It was a heartwarming sight to witness the bonds forming between the older and younger students, as they shared their experiences and offered guidance to the newcomers.
This Orientation Day not only helped our Year 6 students become familiar with their new surroundings but also provided a glimpse of the supportive and inclusive community they are about to join. We are proud of our Year 10 students for their leadership and welcoming spirit, and we look forward to watching these relationships flourish as the Year 6 students transition into our college community.
Term Four Begins on Tuesday, October 10
As we look forward to our final term of the year, please note that Term Four will commence on Tuesday, October 10. We kindly remind all students that the summer uniform should be worn from the start of Term Four.
We wish all our students, staff, and families a safe and restful holiday period. May you return refreshed and ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that await in our final term. Together, we will make it a term to remember.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we can't wait to see what our school community will achieve in Term Four and beyond.
