2-3BR in STEM this week were getting very creative, making their own structures from just little pieces of cardboard and clips! Lola D made a Petrol Station, she chose to recreate this because she likes the look of it and thought it would be easy and time-efficient to build. Max R recreated a Deakin building because that is where his dad works! Keep up the hard work 2-3BR!
Congratulations to Jordan who represented Ceres Primary School and the Surfcoast District at the Division Athletics event on Tuesday. Jordan was selected to compete in the 100m and 200m sprints after her great results at the District event. She did a fantastic job against some very tough and experienced competition. Jordan placed 9th in the 100m and 12th in the 200m. Well done Jordan. Everyone at Ceres is very proud of you.

Violet T, Charli V, Vada H, Spencer, and another helper Ella H brightened up our fairy garden even more last week. Last year these students completed a pot decorating task for their inquiry topic. Unfortunately, they ran out of time to use the pots! Come and visit the Fairy Garden and you will find them planted with succulents making our fairy garden look even more fabulous. Thank you to those students for helping plant and pot, what a great activity and use of resources.
