What a term is was for the Lok Lok Eagles! Absolutely action packed and full of plenty of celebrations. Whilst we eagerly anticipate who is the winner of the token count this term, all of you Eagles should be extremely proud of the term you have had and we will look to keep building into Term 4 as the tight knit house that we are!
How good was it getting decked out in yellow again for R U OK Day! We love wearing our colours and we'll look to do some more house events next term to celebrate a wonderful year.
Big shout out to the following Studentship winners from Lok Lok house...
Phoebe T (F/1M)

Term 3 Recap
What a remarkable couple of weeks it has been for the Kanyul Kangaroos! As we approach the final stretch of Term 3 with just one week to go, let’s take a moment to reflect on the fantastic experiences and achievements we've enjoyed recently.
Over the past two weeks, our students have been immersed in a whirlwind of exciting activities. We celebrated R U OK? Day, a vital occasion to promote mental health and well-being within our school community. Our 3/4 students had a fantastic time at the Geelong Sports Museum, diving into the rich history of Australian sports and the F/1 students enjoyed an engaging excursion to the YMCA.
Our students have also been deeply inspired by the recent Paralympics. Watching these remarkable athletes, including many Australians, has been both educational and motivational. Their incredible achievements and the spirit of inclusivity and perseverance align perfectly with our Kanyul values. The dedication and courage displayed by Paralympians serve as a powerful example for our students, reinforcing the importance of resilience, teamwork, and respect.
Looking ahead, the excitement continues with even more events on the horizon in Week 10. The 3/4J eagerly await a fun-filled Mini Olympics incursion next week, whilst our F-3 students cannot wait to be fascinated by the Snake Incursion on Monday. We are sure they’re ready to embrace their Kanyul values of Risk Taking and Best Effort to learn about these incredible creatures up close.
As we wrap up this term, we wish all the Kanyul and Lok Lok legends of Ceres Primary School the best of luck in their upcoming events and activities. We’re always super proud of all your efforts and achievements.
Have a fantastic weekend and holidays, everyone!

A reminder that students can wear their house iron on patches on their school polos. These can be ironed onto students' polos, underneath the Ceres logo. It's great to see some students already wearing theirs!
