Year 5 Debating
Congratulations to our Year 5 debating team, who recently won their debate against Epping West Public School. Their hard work and progress over the past few weeks paid off in a debate over the topic ‘School students should be allowed to use mobile phones’. Our team spoke not only in front of the judge and teachers, but also an audience of eighty Year Five students from Epping West.
Our Roselea team has put in a lot of effort to their debating skills, from researching their topics to practising rebuttals. Their ability to think on the spot and respond confidently during the debate impressed the adjudicator, who awarded them the win.
We are so proud of how much they’ve grown as debaters. Their dedication and determination led to this well-deserved victory. Well done, Year 5!
Well done to Ava, Chloe, Livia, and Myesha. Special thanks to Madison in 5J, who was able to fill in on the day.

Lost Property
As the weather continues to warm up, we’ve noticed that students are beginning to take off their jumpers during the day. Unfortunately, many of these jumpers are ending up in our lost property without any names on them.
We kindly ask you to please check the lost property for any missing jumpers and ensure that all your child’s belongings are clearly labelled with their name. This will help us return items promptly.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep our students' belongings safe and accounted for. All unclaimed items will be donated to the clothing shop at the end of this week.
