Year 5/6 Camp - Payments Due

If you are yet to complete payment for your student(s) attending the Year 5/6 Camp, please ensure you make payment by Friday 8th Novemberto ensure your child can attend the camp. If you are unsure or need assistance, please contact the office.

2025 Enrolments

Prep Transition is about to commence for enrolled students. If you have a Kindergarten aged child and have not submitted the enrolment form for your Prep starting in 2025, please do so immediately so they can be included in the Transition Program. This also helps our school plan effectively for staffing requirements. Please head to our website to find out how to enrol or pop into the Office and speak to Ms Kirsty or Miss Emma.

2024 Exits 

Do you know if you will be exiting the school at any point this year or early next year? Please send our Office Administration team an email at south.melbourne.ps@education.vic.gov.au.  Knowing this information in advance will assist the school with planning, budgets and staffing. Your plans don't have to be set in stone, just a heads up will do.  Alternatively, please pop in to the office to let Ms Kirsty or Miss Emma know of your intentions.

End of Life Devices - Year 3 and 6 Students

Student devices in Years 3 and 6 will reach the end of their lifecycle at the end of the 2024 school year. The school is currently in the process of negotiating end of life offboarding with our suppliers. As part of this process, families may opt to buyout the device to keep it or they may return it to the school. 

To facilitate this process, we need families to indicate their preference on buying or returning their device at the end of the year. Please use the link below to respond to the survey by Wednesday 16th October and identify your preference. Please note that if you do NOT respond to this survey, you will be required to RETURN your student’s device to the school.

Donation Request

We are currently in need of girls' underwear in sizes 4-10 and navy socks, either new or gently used, to assist with changes or toileting accidents.

How You Can Help:

• Donate New or Gently Used Girls' Underwear: Sizes 4-10 are needed. Please ensure items are clean and in good condition.
• Return Borrowed Items: If your child has borrowed underwear or items from Sick Bay in the past, we kindly ask that you return these items to the school office at your earliest convenience.

To make it easier for you, we have included a screenshot below of a suitable and affordable option available from Kmart if you happen to be at the shops. This can serve as a helpful guide for your donations. Your contributions will help us ensure that every child who needs a change has access to clean and appropriate clothing.
