Bullying

Bullying is a repeated aggressive behavior intended to hurt, intimidate, or dominate another person. It can be physical, verbal, social, or online. If you see bullying or are being bullied, it’s important to speak up and get help. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected.

  1. Physical Bullying: Hitting, kicking, or physically harming someone.
  2. Verbal Bullying: Name-calling, insulting, or making threatening remarks.
  3. Social Bullying: Excluding someone from a group, spreading rumors, or damaging someone’s reputation.
  4. Cyberbullying: Using digital platforms like social media, text messages, or emails to harass, threaten, or spread harmful content about someone.

The key aspects of bullying are the intent to harm and the repetitive nature of the behavior. It often involves an imbalance of power, where the bully has some form of advantage over the victim.

Addressing bullying involves creating a safe environment, promoting empathy and respect, and taking action to stop harmful behaviors. If you or someone you know is experiencing bullying, seeking support from trusted adults or professionals is important.

Kids Helpline and Bullying No Way offer excellent resources. I encourage you to explore these sites if you need additional advice or support.

Passez un excellent week-end!
